"excellent hotel."
we recently stayed at the sofitel hotel in agadir. it was amazing. the hotel is beautiful. the pool area was fantastic with four poster leather beds to sunbathe on!! the hotel is kept immaculately clean. there is a lovely lounge area where families can sit and enjoy the famous mint tea!(which is delicious). the staff are very friendly and will help to advise you on any excursions. there is a private section of the beach for sofitel which is kept really clean. food wise there are three restaurants at the hotel, which have traditonal moroccan cuisine or continental cuisine.to eat at the restaurants is slightly expensive but no more than what you would pay in england,for a good meal. and if your not into moroccan cuisine there is always the local macdonalds down the road!! i prefered staying on a bed/breakfast basis as this allowed us to eat outside the hotel if we wanted to. the location of the hotel is only 5-10mins taxi ride into main agadir town centre. at the hotel adults can enjoy the 'so nightclub'.it is very modern with a resident band and dj who play all types of music,open till four in the morning. overall i think the hotel is perfect for couples and families or for groups as it has everything you need to enjoy the moroccan culture. absolutely amazing!!!

"Loved the Sofitel"
I have just returned from my stay at the Sofitel with my boyfriend and we loved it!! The actual hotel and the staff are really lovely and friendly.
The only 2 downsides were that most of the rooms don't have balconies and the lack of variety for the evening buffet. I would greatly advise going bed and breakfast as there are loads of lovely places to eat a walk or short taxi ride away and the breakfast was really nice!!
Overall a great stay and I will definiately be booking a Sofitel hotel again!!

Fabulous Hotel
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel. The first impressions were overwhelming. We were greeted by Moroccan tea, music and hospitality. The room was very clean, and had everything we needed plus rose petals. The service in the hotel was outstanding, we felt spoilt. One thing I would say, is that remember that this hotel is classed as a 5 star hotel, and with that comes 5 star prices. Although cheaper than most major cities, but still worth keeping in mind. I would not hesitate in going back.

Geat Hotel
We had a fantastic stay at the SOFITEL. The room was spacious and bright. The food was delicious, we ate mostly from the Caravan Restaurant which was self-service style. The pool was beautiful. Lunchtime we ate by the pool in the small dining area. The beach is great. Just loved it and would highly recommend a visit. |
